Cachopo
Local tips
The Sausage Fair in January-February is the event of the year — smoked sausages, medronho, and mountain crafts. In spring, the wildflowers are extraordinary. Combine with the Museological Nucleus to understand life in the mountains. Cachopo is probably the best gateway to the deep Algarve.
