As part of its 2026 musical production plan, the Ideias do Levante – Cultural Association of Lagoa (Algarve), in partnership with various municipalities, parish councils, Santas Casas da Misericórdia, and parishes in the Algarve, will organise the sixth Algarve Harp Festival, which will take place in the municipalities of Lagoa, Albufeira, and Monchique on 1, 15, 22, and 28 November 2026, at times to be consulted in the calendar. The opening concert on 1 November at the Igreja Matriz de Lagoa will be shared with the XIX Algarve Organ Festival, in partnership with the Música XXI Association (Faro), bringing together harp and organ in the same programme.

The event is produced by the Ideias do Levante cultural association, in partnership with various municipalities, parish councils, and Santas Casas in the Algarve. Each edition proposes collecting donations to assist non-profit institutions in the Algarve in the area of social and human support. The first edition of the event took place throughout 2021, either online and/or in person, in various municipalities in the Algarve, with several concerts and/or workshops in Albufeira, Lagoa, Loulé, Monchique, etc. The artistic director of this festival is harpist Helena Madeira. The performances are free, open to the public, recommended for ages 6 and older, and limited to existing capacity. Although it is a free event, any donations will be welcome to support the Ideias do Levante association.
