Lagoa Magic Fest'26

Lagoa, the Magical City.

From 8 to 10 October 2026, Lagoa will become the capital of magic with the 6th edition of the International Magic Festival, 🎩Lagoa Magic Fest’26✨, the only International Illusionism Festival held in the Algarve.

For three days, the municipality will host illusion, enchantment, and excitement, with a programme that brings magic to various locations, engaging the public and providing moments of surprise for all ages.

Under the artistic direction of local magician Paulo Cabrita, the Festival features a fantastic lineup of seven internationally renowned magicians, showcasing the best in the art of illusion. It invites everyone to dream, believe in the impossible, and be surprised by magic.

On 8 and 9 October, the Festival will bring magic to different parts of the municipality through free shows in streets, schools, and institutions.

Street Magic events are free to access!

During these two days, magic will leave traditional stages to meet the public directly, bringing it to various communities and spaces in the municipality.

The Festival concludes on 10 October with a Grand Gala Night at 21:00, at the Auditório Carlos do Carmo in Lagoa.

The Grand Gala Night will be the highlight of three days dedicated to magic, featuring the invited artists in an international magic show, specially designed to provide the audience with a magical evening.

Tickets for the Grand Gala cost €10 and are available at Bilheteira Online and at usual locations.

The 🎩Lagoa Magic Fest’26✨ is organised by the Municipality of Lagoa with production by the Lagoa Academy of Illusionism – AIL, under the artistic direction of Paulo Cabrita.
