Alice in Wonderland

The Carlos do Carmo Auditorium in Lagoa will host the musical 🎭Alice in Wonderland😆, performed by The Algarveans Theatre Group, with shows on 19 and 20 November at 19:30 and on 21 November at 14:00 and 19:30. Tickets are already on sale.

Based on the beloved story by Lewis Carroll, this version is a traditional British pantomime: a lively family show filled with comedy, music, colourful characters, audience participation, and local humour. Alice follows the White Rabbit into Wonderland, where she meets the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, and many other familiar characters. With imagination, courage, and plenty of absurdity, Alice helps save Wonderland.

Tom Whalley is a playwright and pantomime author based in the UK, originally from Newcastle upon Tyne. His award-winning pantomime scripts are staged by theatre groups in the UK and internationally. His work is known for being energetic, accessible, and suitable for the whole family, combining classic stories with modern humour, music, and strong audience participation.

Tickets for each session cost €15 and are available at the Online Box Office and at usual locations.
