Each of the three chapters takes place in the present and in different countries. FATHER is set in the northeastern United States, MOTHER in Dublin, Ireland, and SISTER BROTHER in Paris, France. The film is a series of character studies, calm, observational, and non-judgmental – a comedy interwoven with threads of melancholy. Golden Lion for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival 2025.
