The Vila do Bispo Interpretation Center hosts, from July 7 to August 7, the photography exhibition "Travels in Another Land" by photographer James Harmer.
Inspired by the Portuguese writer, playwright, and politician Almeida Garrett, who portrayed journeys through his land as a path of personal discovery and of the country itself, the photographer presents in the exhibition an inversion of this premise, inviting the visitor to embark on his "Journeys in Another Land".
James Harmer presents a perspective that is both that of a stranger and that of a resident in various corners of the world. Through different visual fragments that cross borders across several continents, the journey culminates in Sagres, Vila do Bispo.
The exhibition organized by the Vila do Bispo City Council can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
