As part of the Modernist Event, join resident artist Marisa Murtinha for a special tile-painting workshop inspired by the Modernism movement at GAMA RAMA Gallery.
Explore Modernist-inspired patterns, shapes, and decorative motifs while creating your own unique hand-painted tiles.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Paint 2 hand-painted tiles to take home
Finished tiles will be fired and ready for collection a few days later.

The workshop takes place at GAMA RAMA, one of Faro's most vibrant creative spaces — the same venue where the evening welcome drinks will follow at 18h30, so you can move seamlessly from studio to social.

!About Marisa Murtinha (b. 1997, Loulé) She is a visual artist specialising in figurative oil painting and traditional Portuguese tilework with a contemporary approach. In 2026, she founded Atelier Murtinha and is currently an artist-in-residence at GAMA RAMA Studios in Faro.
