Run, Run, Little Gourd

On 26 September, from 10:00am to 12:15pm, the Municipal Library of Lagoa will host two sessions of 👟Run, Run, Little Gourd🏃, as part of its monthly 📖From the Library to Families📚 programme, by the Maria Cachucha project.

📖From the Library to Families📚 are sessions held on Saturdays at the Municipal Library of Lagoa for parents and children, this time featuring "Run, Run, Little Gourd", by the Maria Cachucha project:

An old lady sets off for her granddaughter's wedding and along the way, she has an adventure full of twists and turns… where even a gourd plays a special role!

The story "Run, Run, Little Gourd" inspires a session where literature and cooking meet. After hearing the tale, children and families are invited to get hands-on and prepare delicious pumpkin pancakes!

The Maria Cachucha project was founded by Clélia Pereira, a Childhood Educator, School Librarian at the ESPAMOL grouping, and an ambassador for the publisher Livros Horizonte. She created the Maria Cachucha project, which combines stories, music, and nature in proposals aimed at the youngest. Her work intertwines children's literature, artistic education, play, and learning in contact with the natural world.

Participation is free, with limited mandatory registration at: biblioteca@cm-lagoa.pt

This activity is aimed at children aged 3 to 9 years accompanied by their guardians and is divided into two sessions:

1st session for children aged 3 to 6 years | 10:00am - 11:15am

2nd session for children aged 6 to 9 years | 11:30am - 12:15pm
