BAOBÁS – Grupo Impacto de Dança

On 19 September at 7:00pm, the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium in Lagoa will host the dance performance 🕺 BAOBÁS - Grupo Impacto de Dança 💃, with tickets now on sale!

The identity of the Brazilian people inspired Grupo Impacto to create a performance that embodies the strength and beliefs that form the essence of Brazilian identity, highlighting the ongoing quest for recognition of their roots. BAOBÁS is the group's first fully original show, incorporating influences from indigenous and African cultures present in Brazil, questioning how the interactions between these distinct cultures shaped Brazilian society and its current characteristics. The performance also offers a special focus on minorities and their forms of struggle and resistance through art and culture.
