The Escola de Artes Mestre Fernando Rodrigues, in Lagoa, hosts the Group Exhibition of the Nature Illustration Workshop, 🌍Terra Viva🎑, by Ana Rita M. Afonso, which will be on display at the Galeria Manuela Vale from September 3 to 25. Admission is free!
🌍Terra Viva🎑 is a group show about the beauty of the natural world, the biodiversity that surrounds us, and the culture that inhabits it.
Through realistic illustrations, the students of the Nature Illustration Workshop depict beings, biodiversity, places, and people with detail and color.
Each work reveals the form, texture, and life of our world.
Works created in 2025/2026, under the guidance of Ana Rita M. Afonso, using techniques such as graphite, watercolor, oil and dry pastels, ink, scratchboard, and more.
The exhibition opens to the public on September 3, at 6:00 PM.
Until September 25, the exhibition can be visited, free of charge, from Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and/or from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
