The 7th edition of the Blue Think Conference (BTC), CIMAR-LA, will take place on September 3 and 4, 2026, in an in-person format at the University of Algarve, Gambelas Campus, in Faro, home of the Center for Marine Sciences (CCMAR).

The event is organized by the PhD Students Committee of the Interdisciplinary Center for Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR), in collaboration with CCMAR, and aims to promote the sharing of scientific knowledge in the fields of marine and environmental sciences, bringing together researchers, students, and professionals from the sector.

The Blue Think Conference establishes itself as a space for interdisciplinary discussion, encouraging dialogue between different scientific areas and fostering new collaborations. The organization, which operates on a voluntary and non-profit basis, expects that the 2026 edition will achieve greater size and impact, reinforcing the participation of the academic and scientific community.

In addition to the scientific program, the event will have the support of sponsoring entities, which will have various visibility opportunities, including the display of logos on official platforms, presence in the abstract book, promotion on social media, and the possibility of setting up stands during the conference.
