Caldas de Monchique
A small thermal and green refuge nestled in a valley of the Monchique mountains, where thermal waters of 32 degrees have been bubbling up from the earth since Roman times. The thermal complex and romantic gardens create an atmosphere of timeless tranquility, surrounded by dense forests of eucalyptus and cork oaks. The pure mountain air and the sound of flowing water make this place a balm for escaping the coast.

Picota Viewpoint
The second highest point of the Monchique mountains, at 774 meters, the Picota viewpoint offers a grand panoramic view over the Algarve and the mountains. Less visited than Foia, it is surrounded by dense forests of cork oaks and strawberry trees, making the path to the top a total immersion in mountain nature. The solitude and the breadth of the view are the great reward.

Sítio das Fontes
Riverside municipal park with 18 hectares on the left bank of the Arade River estuary, north of Estombar. The park is fed by natural freshwater springs that emerge from the ground, creating a unique ecosystem. Walking trails, picnic areas with barbecues, and a river beach complete the experience. The flat terrain makes it fully accessible, and the complete circuit takes about 45 minutes on foot. An Algarve without ocean beaches, but with all the freshness.

Praia do Submarino
A very hidden spot in the Alvor area, dependent on low tide for access. The mysterious name and access conditioned by the tide add a sense of adventure and discovery. When the tide allows, it reveals a small beach framed by interesting rock formations and calm, transparent waters.
