Discover the Monchique Mountains and the Walkways of Barranco do Demo Departure from the boarding points towards the charming village of Monchique, with a stop along the way for breakfast (not included).

Upon arrival, time to explore the unique charm of the village, wandering through its narrow and steep streets and the emblematic staircase of the Historic Center, where the imposing Convento de Nossa Senhora do Desterro and the Igreja do Senhor dos Passos stand out, places rich in history and tradition.

Next comes one of the most awaited moments of the day: A challenging and fascinating hiking route of about 7 km along the Walkways of Barranco do Demo. The trail starts at the yard of the Alferce Mother Church and leads us through natural landscapes of rare beauty to the ruins of the towering Alferce Castle, offering stunning views and a unique experience of contact with nature.

CANCELLATIONS: There is no refund of the registration fee, except if: The organization finds someone to take the place of the canceling participant, or the participant indicates another person to replace them.

ATTENTION a) In case of adverse weather conditions, the event will be canceled and rescheduled for a later date to be defined by the organization. There will be no refund of the registration fee.

b) During the activity, the recommendations of the Code of Conduct and Good Practices of ICNF must be followed.
