6th Monchique Walking Festival

The event is a tribute to water, aiming to invoke this resource and call for its preservation.

Water runs through the veins of the Serra de Monchique. Here, in the sacred mountain, water is also food for human life and this very special ecosystem. Here, where the coolness of the streams also elevates this food to our soul and well-being. We make this festival a walk for the contemplation and discovery of this rich interior and also of the interior of each one of us.

The festival includes various activities such as sports walks, thematic and cultural walks, family and children's activities, workshops, art studios, theater, yoga, and astronomical observation.
