Portimão Educational Farm Reopens on 24 October

The initiative "The Colours of Equality" and the workshop "Run, Run Little Pumpkin" mark the return of the renovated facility.

After a period of closure due to urgent maintenance and refurbishment work, the Portimão Educational Farm will reopen on 24 October, featuring renovated spaces and improved comfort for the animals.
This municipal facility reopens its doors to residents and visitors, equipped with better safety conditions and greater sustainability. This break was necessary to carry out essential interventions to ensure the safety and proper functioning of the space.

On the reopening day, 24 October, at 10:00, there will be the moment "The Colours of Equality", an initiative promoted by the Health and Citizenship Unit of the Municipality of Portimão, integrated into the programme for the Municipal Day for Equality. Following this, at 11:00, the workshop "Run, Run Little Pumpkin" will take place with Maria Cachucha, and from 12:00, the inauguration of another Municipal Biotheque, both in partnership with the Portimão Municipal Library.

The Portimão Educational Farm will be open from Monday to Saturday, from 09:30 to 17:30. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
