Algarve All Jazz returns in 2026 for its 5th edition, reinforcing its position as one of the reference projects of the Algarve Jazz Orchestra as a platform for creation, programming, and artistic circulation dedicated to Jazz, this edition featuring Polly Gibbons, a British singer acclaimed by critics and major international stages. Described by The Guardian as “unmistakably a class act”, Polly Gibbons has built, over more than two decades of career, an artistic identity marked by the fusion of Jazz, Blues, Soul, Gospel, and Rhythm & Blues. The singer has been nominated for the Best Jazz Vocalist award by the BBC and Jazz FM and has recorded three albums for the prestigious American label Resonance Records. Her international journey includes performances in iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s, and Birdland in New York, as well as appearances at major international festivals, including the Montreal Jazz Festival and Java Jazz Festival. The Lagoa Congress Centre will host this international voice for a unique concert on 17 October at 19:00, where some of the artist's themes will be revisited in unpublished versions, with sounds and orchestrations for Jazz Orchestra. Tickets will be on sale from 1 September.
