Walking Tour - Along the Zêzere River

On 10 October, the walking tour “Along the Zêzere River” invites you to explore one of the most emblematic landscapes of Vila de Rei, between Zaboeira and Fernandaires. Organised by the Vale d’Água Association, the route is approximately 12 km long, following the Zêzere River through nature paths and landscapes marked by the presence of water, inviting you to discover the territory step by step.

Participants will gather at 08:00 at the Vale d’Água Association headquarters in Vale das Casas, where breakfast will be served. At 08:30, participants will take a bus to Zaboeira, and the walk will begin at 09:00. There will be a refreshment stop along the way, finishing the route in Fernandaires, where a communal lunch will take place.
