Open Studios

From 18 to 20 September, Olhão will once again open its doors to contemporary artistic creation.

In the second edition of Open Studios Olhão, the project has grown significantly: there are now 68 resident artists in the municipality, including 47 Portuguese and 21 foreign artists.

For the first time, 21 young students from secondary and university education will join the Open Studios, having the opportunity to showcase and value their artistic work.

Also for the first time, 32 artists without their own studio will have spaces in the city centre to present their works, through partnerships established by the Municipality.

Painting, installation, illustration, photography, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, urban art and architecture are part of an edition that also features a more diverse parallel programme, with musical performances, artistic mentoring, workshops and guided visits.

All this with an extensive network of partners and, for the first time, with its own website, where you can learn about the artists, the spaces, the entities involved and the entire programme.
