Music & Yoga

On July 18th, between 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM, the Municipal Library of Lagoa will host in its monthly section 📖From the Library to Families📚 two sessions of 🎶Music & Yoga🧘, by Carina Resende and Rita Cavaco. Two sessions designed for different stages of child development, where music and yoga come together to create moments of learning, fun, and well-being. An interactive activity that promotes the connection between children and families through movement, rhythm, and sharing. Carina Resende holds a degree in Education and Community Intervention, with additional training in music from the Regional Conservatory of Algarve. She develops musical education projects for children and works in the Ministry of Education, promoting socio-emotional skills among first-cycle children. Rita Cavaco holds a degree in Social Education and has specialized training in yoga for babies and children from Sunshine Yoga School. She develops children's yoga activities in educational and cultural contexts, promoting the well-being and holistic development of the child.
