After years working in the financial sector and investing personally, she created The Financial Thinking to help women approach money and investing with greater clarity, structure and confidence.
Her work focuses on simplifying investing and making financial education more accessible, practical and understandable for women who want to build long-term financial independence without feeling intimidated by the financial world.
Through workshops, masterclasses and individual sessions, she helps women understand investing, develop a structured approach to their finances and make more informed decisions about their long-term investment strategy.
Rachel Canales is a Currency Specialist at GC Partners, based in Vilamoura, where the team has been supporting the Algarve's international community for over 20 years.
Alongside Laura, Rachel is bringing together a space for open, practical conversations around financial awareness, international payments and foreign currency exchange — the kind of knowledge that genuinely makes a difference in people's lives.
