The Festivities in Honour of Our Lady of the Incarnation begin on 4 September at 21:00 with a Votive Mass for Our Lady in Marquês de Pombal Square, followed by a Candlelight Procession along Avenida da República at 22:00.
Traditional games will enliven the afternoon of Saturday, 5 September, starting at 15:30. At 21:30, the Parish Council of VRSA will host a concert with Ganda Banda.
The festivities continue on 6 September, with a morning featuring the Greasy Pole game (10:00) and a boat race on the Guadiana River, starting at 12:00.
The highlight of the celebrations occurs at 17:00 with a Solemn Mass followed by the Procession in Honour of Our Lady of the Incarnation (18:00), which will traverse the main streets of Vila Real de Santo António and will be accompanied by fishermen in boats.
In the evening, Marquês de Pombal Square will host a dance performance by the Gracia Díaz Dance Academy (21:30) and a concert featuring Fado Popular (22:00).
The festivities in honour of Our Lady of the Incarnation are organised by the Parish of Our Lady of the Incarnation, with support from the VRSA Municipal Council, the VRSA Parish Council, and the Santo António de Arenilha Fishermen's Association.
