Fado at the Adro of Mexilhoeira Grande

The Adro of the Church of Mexilhoeira Grande will once again host an evening dedicated to one of the most emblematic traditions of Portuguese culture. On 20 September at 20:30, another edition of Fado at the Adro will take place, bringing together music, tradition, and camaraderie in one of the village's most characteristic spaces.

This edition will feature performances by invited fado singers Ana Marques and João Leote, accompanied by Ricardo Martins on the Portuguese guitar and Bruno David on the fado guitar, promising to envelop the Adro in a very special atmosphere with their voices and fado chords.

Alongside the music, there will also be traditional flavours, including caldo verde, wine, and roasted chorizo, enhancing the spirit of sharing and community that characterises this initiative.

Fado at the Adro 2026 invites the entire community and visitors to enjoy an outdoor evening where music and Portuguese tradition meet in the heart of Mexilhoeira Grande.
