Between Light & Memory: Photographic Walk of Heritage Landscapes

Join us for a photographic walk exploring the beauty of our heritage landscapes.

On 26 September 2026, from 19:00 to 22:00, the Municipality of Vila do Bispo will host a photographic walk through the heritage landscapes of Vila do Bispo. This event is part of the European Heritage Days, which take place from 18 to 27 September 2026.

This is an interpretative walking tour along the Megalithic Route of Pedra Escorregadia - Monte dos Amantes - Cerro do Camacho (Vila do Bispo). Participants will walk 3km over 3 hours, from sunset into the night, with different stages providing information about the heritage visible in the landscapes visited, particularly the megalithic past evidenced by prehistoric monuments.

Heritage realities will be explored through the lens of photography, applying techniques adapted to various lighting conditions, aimed at capturing the technical, scientific, and artistic aspects of the observed heritage contexts.

Registration is free but limited to 20 participants. Pre-registration is required by 1:00 PM on 25 September at reservas.museu@cm-viladobispo.pt

Recommendations: Wear closed walking shoes and suitable clothing for the weather conditions.
