On 26 September, the Municipality will host a photographic walk through the heritage landscapes of Vila do Bispo - “Between Light & Memory”. This initiative is part of the European Heritage Days, taking place from 18 to 27 September 2026.

It is an interpretative walking tour along the Megalithic Route of Pedra Escorregadia - Monte dos Amantes - Cerro do Camacho (Vila do Bispo), covering 3 km in 3 hours, from sunset to night, with different stages providing information about the heritage present in the visited landscapes, particularly regarding the megalithic past evidenced by prehistoric monuments. The heritage realities will be explored through the photographic lens, applying techniques adapted to different lighting conditions aimed at capturing the technical, scientific, and artistic contexts observed.

Registration is free but limited to 20 participants and must be made in advance by 1:00 PM on 25 September at reservas.museu@cm-viladobispo.pt.
