As part of the global Ingka Centres company, MAR Shopping Algarve promotes play as an essential tool for learning. ‘Dominguinhos’ is an educational project offering a range of free activities every Sunday at 11:00, in the children's area on Floor 0, next to the Centroxogo/IKEA store. The cultural programme includes playful and educational experiences for children and families in the community, promoting development and social interaction while reinforcing the concept of Meeting Place. In November, ‘Dominguinhos’ presents a programme dedicated to friendship, gratitude, and how we recognise and express our feelings. Stories, music, artistic creation, and family games shape a month that addresses relationships and emotions in a simple and relatable way for children.
‘Fitinhas’ | Tom and Jerry: The Lost Compass (7 November – 10:30) The November session brings another success to the NOS Cinemas at MAR Shopping Algarve and MAR Shopping Matosinhos. On the first Saturday of the month, 7 November, the film Tom and Jerry: The Lost Compass will be screened. The legendary rivalry between Tom and Jerry gets a new twist when, during a chase in a museum, they accidentally activate a magical compass that transports them to an unknown and dangerous world. While trying to find their way back home, they encounter new allies and must face enemies threatening the balance of the Universe. This initiative is aimed at children aged 3 to 12 and their companions (maximum of two adults and five people per group) and starts at 10:30. For each session, 450 tickets are available, of which 100 can be collected in advance by members of the Livli Family loyalty programme in the week before the remaining tickets are released. Tickets can be collected at the information desk from Monday to Friday during MAR Shopping Algarve's opening hours. Access regulations will be available at www.marshopping.com.
