Celebrations of the International Day of the Educating City 2026

On 30 November, the Municipality of Lagoa will join the celebration of the International Day of the Educating City, organised by the International Association of Educating Cities, of which it has been a member since 2018. This year's theme is “Educating to promote critical thinking and democratic values and to combat misinformation.”
Throughout November, various activities will be held to encourage the community to reflect on the importance of critical thinking, digital and media literacy, and civic participation, contributing to a more informed, conscious, and responsible citizenship.
