Proximity Service – GAA | Farmer Support Office

Next week, another session of the GAA – Farmer Support Office will take place, a technical support service aimed at bringing farmers closer to public services and promoting more sustainable, informed, and competitive agriculture.

The GAA's main objectives are to inform and raise awareness about sustainable agricultural practices, strengthen the technical knowledge of the sector, contribute to the improvement of animal health and public veterinary hygiene, support agricultural and zootechnical development, combat land abandonment, and encourage the creation and development of agricultural enterprises.

At the same time, it promotes training and capacity-building actions, contributing to greater environmental and economic sustainability of agricultural activity.

During this service, clarifications may also be provided regarding applications for agricultural support, updating of land parcels, declarations of the SNIRA – National System of Information and Registration of Animals, licensing under the REAP, as well as about the Agricultural Advisory Service (SAA) and other measures in the context of rural development.
