Alvor Wine Tasting Returns

From October 2 to 4, the old fish market in Alvor will once again host the tasting of the best wines produced in the municipality of Portimão.

In this 4th edition of Alvor Wine Tasting, visitors will have the opportunity to savour the excellence and refinement of wines in a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, set against the backdrop of the Alvor estuary.

Musical entertainment will be provided, along with culinary delights to pair with the wines. The gastronomic partner is Restaurante Zé Morgadinho.

Villa Alvor, Quinta da Penina, and Arvad/UCA are once again the hosts of this event organised by the Municipality of Portimão, with support from the Alvor Parish Council and the Portimão Tourism Association.

Entry is free, and the wines will be available for tasting from 18:00 to 23:00.

As part of the council's strategy to diversify the tourist offering, wine production and wine tourism, due to their strong growth potential, are key elements in building a multifaceted destination that can attract tourists year-round.
