363rd St. Martin's Fair Returns with 10 Days of Fun

The 363rd edition of the popular St. Martin's Fair is approaching, and the Portimão Fair and Exhibition Park is preparing to host this historic economic and social event from November 6 to 15.

Originating in 1662, this fair has maintained its traditions over the years while evolving with new features. This year, you can expect the famous farturas, warm chorizo bread, roasted chestnuts, dried fruits, sweet potatoes, grilled octopus, and many other snacks at the bars and stalls set up in the Fair Park.

Children will enjoy cotton candy, gummies, and popcorn, while a variety of household items such as bowls, towels, kitchen utensils, clothing, and footwear will also be available.

The lights and sounds of the attractions will draw visitors to the central area of the Fair Park, where colourful bumper car tracks and carousels suitable for all ages will be major highlights.

As in recent years, the St. Martin's Fair will feature two themed days with special prices at participating venues. November 11 (Youth Day) is dedicated to children and young people, while the event's closing on November 15 is for families.

Another attraction is the car brand showcase, featuring new and used vehicles.

The venue at Portimão Arena will be open on November 6 and 7 from 4pm to midnight, from November 8 to 12 from 4pm to 11pm, on November 13 and 14 from 4pm to midnight, and finally on November 15 from 4pm to 10pm.

Venue Hours

On opening day, November 6, the St. Martin's Fair will be open from 4pm to 1am, while on November 7 it will operate from 10am to 1am. From November 8 to 12, it will be open from 10am to midnight, and on November 13 and 14, it will welcome visitors from 10am to 1am. On the final day, November 15, the fair will be open from 10am to midnight.
