The XXXII edition of the Folklore Festival of the Santo António de Arenilha Ethnographic Group takes place on August 15, and Vila Real de Santo António will once again host this event that annually brings together several reference groups from the national folklore and ethnography scene.
Starting at 9:00 PM, Praça Marquês de Pombal will be the stage for the performances of the five participating groups: the Santo António de Arenilha Ethnographic Group from the Cultural Association of VRSA, the Dance and Song Group of Alpiarça (Santarém), the Folkloric Group of Danças e Cantares do Passil (Alcochete), the Folkloric Group of the Casa do Povo de Aguçadoura (Póvoa do Varzim), and the Folkloric Group of the Casa do Povo de Lanheses (Viana do Castelo).
The XXXII Folklore Festival of the Santo António de Arenilha Ethnographic Group is organized by the Cultural Association of Vila Real de Santo António, with the support of the Municipality of VRSA, the Parish Council of VRSA, and local commerce.
