Tavira reaffirms its role as a major stage for Mediterranean culture by hosting the XII Mediterranean Diet Fair from 3 to 6 September. This significant event is coordinated by the Municipality of Tavira and promoted in close collaboration with an Organising Committee comprising various regional public and private entities. Their common mission is to enhance, promote, and safeguard the Mediterranean Diet as an UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, reinforcing Tavira's role as a representative community of Portugal.
