Cyanotype is an alternative photographic technique that produces blueprints through a chemical reaction. In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of this technique and produce your own images. You will learn to prepare the chemical solution and apply it to paper, as well as exposure techniques using negatives or transparent objects, plants, or other materials. After being exposed to sunlight, the images are washed in water to reveal the final image. Participants will be able to experiment with different materials to produce unique images.
