workshop “Creactivity

On July 7, at Avenida de Espanha, next to the Nautical Center in Alcoutim, starting at 10:00 AM, the Creactivity bus will be present. This is a space for workshops for children aged 6 and up where the art of thinking with hands is practiced, with elements designed to boost creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, cooperation, and reflection. Entry is free.

Creactivity is a traveling project that proposes workshops to awaken children's ingenuity and help them feel comfortable in a changing society. The goal is to foster the design of original solutions to simple problems. Children and young people participate in workshops using everyday materials and both low and high-tech tools to bring their own ideas to life.

The vehicle allows access for people with reduced mobility and is equipped inside with benches, work tables, and various activities prepared for the children to engage in.

Characterized by its playful and collaborative component, the space allows for research with materials, planning, creation of new designs, and the use of common materials for new functions, through open and interdisciplinary proposals that encompass science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Other transversal skills are also being developed, such as cooperative learning habits, self-awareness for learning, and the creation and execution of projects.

The workshops are aimed at groups of primary and secondary school students, primarily aged 8 to 16, as well as family groups. A facilitator guides the children through a creative process for which accompanying adults, whether teachers or family members, are also invited. The sessions have an estimated duration of 75 minutes.
