On 23 September, from 18:00 to 20:00, the Municipality of Portimão will host a welcome sunset for the academic year at Lugar do Rio – Espaço Jovem Portimão, in the Fair and Exhibition Park.
The initiative, aimed at the youth of the municipality, also marks the start of the 3rd edition of the Participatory Youth Budget (OPJ) Portimão 2026-2027, the details of which will be presented at this event.
The programme includes music, featuring Gonçalo Rosa (Portuguese guitar and DJ), a social snack and a participatory dynamic on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), integrated into the celebrations of the International Day of Peace, celebrated on 21 September by the United Nations (UN).
It will also be an opportunity to learn about the Activity Plans for 2026/27 of Lugar do Rio – Espaço Jovem Portimão and the Ponto JÁ Store and discover municipal initiatives aimed at the youth community.
