MUSICAL SESSIONS FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN: AUTUMN HAS ARRIVED, by Ana Correia

Location: Biblioteca Municipal de Lagos Organised by: CM Lagos Duration: 45 min Age rating: 10:00 3-23 months | 11:30 2-4 years (limit of 12 participants per session) All activities at the Biblioteca Municipal are free to attend but require prior registration up to 48 hours before the event by calling 282 767 816, visiting the Facebook page of the library, or emailing biblioteca@cm-lagos.pt. Each initiative requires a minimum number of participants. If this is not met, the activity may be cancelled.

In this musical session for babies and children, we will explore autumn through songs, sounds, movements, and sensory experiences. Among dancing leaves, gentle winds, and comforting melodies, babies will explore rhythms, stimulate their senses, and strengthen emotional bonds in a playful and learning environment.

BIOGRAPHY: Ana Patrícia Glória Correia, a resident of Lagos, holds a degree in Music, specialising in Cello Performance from the University of Évora. Passionate about “Music for Babies”, she has undertaken training in this area and started exploring this project in nurseries. She has also begun developing family musical sessions in various municipal libraries.

Free parking - The Centro Cultural de Lagos and the Biblioteca Municipal de Lagos offer free parking at the Frente Ribeirinha car park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for attendees of their events. To qualify for this discount, users must present a stamp obtained at the ticket office of the Centro Cultural de Lagos or the entrance of the Biblioteca Municipal de Lagos. This offer is valid only one hour before and up to one hour after each event.
