MUSICAL SESSIONS FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN: IT'S TIME FOR S. MARTINHO, by Ana Correia

Location: Municipal Library of Lagos Organised by: CM Lagos Duration: 45 min Age group: 10:00 3-23 months | 11:30 2-4 years (12 participants per session) All activities at the Municipal Library are free to participate but require prior registration up to 48 hours before the event via phone 282 767 816, the Library's Facebook page, or email biblioteca@cm-lagos.pt. Each initiative requires a minimum number of participants. If this is not reached, the activity may be cancelled.

A musical session for babies and families inspired by the traditions of São Martinho. Through songs, rhythms, movements, and sensory stimuli, little ones explore the sounds and colours of this festive season.

BIOGRAPHY: Ana Patrícia Glória Correia, a resident of Lagos, holds a degree in Music, specialising in Cello Performance from the University of Évora. Passionate about “Music for babies”, she has undergone training in this area and began exploring this project in nurseries. She has also started developing family musical sessions in various municipal libraries.

Free parking - The Cultural Centre of Lagos and the Municipal Library of Lagos offer free parking at the Frente Ribeirinha park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for the public attending their shows/events. To obtain this discount, users must present, at the park's reception, a stamp obtained at the ticket office of the Cultural Centre of Lagos or the entrance of the Municipal Library of Lagos. The offer applies only one hour before and up to one hour after each show/event.
