The screenings are free and take place between 9 AM and 6 PM, with consultations conducted by specialists through a clinical observation. Any suspicious lesions identified will be properly referred for hospital follow-up.
This action is part of a campaign co-organized by the Portuguese League Against Cancer – Southern Regional Nucleus and Bioderma, which runs from August 1 to 29, at various beaches across the country, aiming to raise awareness among the population about the importance of prevention, sun protection, and early detection of suspicious lesions.
