The Constitution of the Portuguese Republic, from 1976, is the pillar of Portuguese political, social, cultural, and economic life. However, Constitutionalism has deep historical roots in Portugal, dating back to 1820. This lecture constitutes a reflection on the normative frameworks of Portuguese life in the 19th and 20th centuries, not forgetting the important role of Lagos in these contexts.
Free parking - The Cultural Center of Lagos and the Municipal Library of Lagos offer free parking in the waterfront park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for the audience of their shows/events. To receive this discount, the user must present, at the reception of the park, a stamp obtained at the box office of the Cultural Center of Lagos or the entrance of the Municipal Library of Lagos. The offer applies only one hour before and up to one hour after each show/event.
