Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Loulé (PMUS of Loulé)

“Sustainable mobility is built with everyone's participation!” This is the theme for the participatory sessions that the Loulé Council will hold on 28 September, aimed at entities and the general public, as part of the development of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Loulé (PMUS of Loulé). The aim is to promote spaces for dialogue, reflection, and sharing of knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on mobility in the municipality.

In the morning, there will be a working session with municipal services and representative entities of the territory, seeking to gather different views and technical knowledge and strengthen coordination among the various stakeholders responsible for mobility, accessibility, transport, territory, and public space.

However, community participation is an essential dimension of this process. Following a previous Mobility Survey directed at the population to characterise existing travel patterns in the municipality and identify needs and challenges, the Municipality now aims to deepen this consultation. One of the central moments of this process will be the public session aimed at the general population, which will take place at 5:30pm at the Municipal Library Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen.
