To turn their backs on a world devastated by war and climate collapse, a group of friends flees to the ends of the earth — towards eternal ice. Under the scorching sun, they celebrate the last fleeting moments of a hedonistic freedom. But their escapist vision of happiness is doomed to fail. Together, they decide to embark on a quest for redemption and, in the process, plunge into unimaginable abysses. ETERNITY is the new film by Susanne Regina Meures and the first cinematic work to bring the art of Florentina Holzinger to the big screen. The film raises the urgent question of our time: what do we do in the face of our guilt regarding a dying planet?
