Part of the 5th edition of Pedra Dura – Algarve Dance Festival.

“FINAL GIRL” arises from the invitation of dancer Rina Marques to clown and director Rui Paixão to direct a solo dance for public space. In horror cinema, the term “final girl” or “survivor girl” refers to the last woman alive who confronts the killer, the one who survives to tell the story. This serves as the starting point for a performance that aims to create a plastic and choreographic clownish imagery with an intense, incoherent, and ironic gesture.
