Pedra Dura – Algarve Dance Festival

The idea of seeing the future is peculiar. Perhaps because, to see it, we must first learn to look at what we have left behind. Not as someone returning, but as someone recognising a trace and realising that it too continues to move.

The 5th PEDRA DURA — Algarve Dance Festival returns to various venues in the city of Lagos from 4 to 14 November. Over eleven days, we will gather at all hours to savour together what we call the moment. There will be dozens of performances, concerts, DJ sets, masterclasses, exhibitions, and other initiatives, with offerings for all ages centred around dance. A programme that invites us to pause, to look, to experience, and to find new ways of relating to places, things, and people. Because perhaps the future is not in front of us. Perhaps it is merely a trace that crosses us.
