Memory Walk

On the occasion of World Alzheimer's Day, Alzheimer Portugal – Algarve Branch is organising the Memory Walk on 26 September, a solidarity walk of 5 km open to community participation.

Participants will meet at 9:00 am at the Riverside Area of Portimão, near the Old Fish Market, where there will be a reception and a warm-up session before the walk begins.

The walk will follow the Riverside Area of Portimão towards the Marina, returning to the starting point, covering approximately 5 km.

More than just a walk, this is an opportunity to combine physical activity with solidarity, raising awareness for Alzheimer's disease and supporting the work of Alzheimer Portugal.

There is a minimum donation of 5 euros to participate, which includes a kit with a t-shirt, water, and informational materials. Children up to 12 years old can participate for free.

Registration can be done at the Alzheimer Portugal offices in Portimão or Lagoa by prior appointment, on the day at the Old Fish Market, or through the online form.
