Writing a fictional work precedes the actual moment of writing, as it requires preparation and outlining of the work to be done, particularly of the main character. Technically preparing a character avoids later internal contradictions and creative blocks.
The objectives of the Creative Writing Workshops are, first and foremost, to develop a taste for writing and reading, as well as to stimulate individual skills and abilities for the creation of written fiction, framing them in theoretical plans and concrete technical procedures. The course proposes a blend of art and science, between inspiration and discipline, between wonder and realization.
The program is based on teaching some basic theoretical notions, but above all, on the provision of specific writing techniques, especially focused on the construction and articulation of characters. The secret of creative writing lies in writing… and writing even more, reading… and reading even more, looking and critiquing. Above all, the most reliable method is to do, because creativity and creation are two twin words.
