As part of the Inclusive Reading Space of the Lagos Book Fair, the Inclusion Desk promotes the workshop "Read with Your Fingers", an activity designed to provide a dynamic, participatory, and accessible experience for people of all ages. Through direct contact with the Braille system, participants will have the opportunity to discover how visually impaired individuals read and write, promoting greater awareness of inclusion, accessibility, and everyone's right to access reading and information. Activity led by Daniel Lança, a teacher supporting children and youth with visual impairments.

Objectives • Introduce the Braille reading and writing system; • Raise awareness of the reality of visually impaired individuals; • Promote equal opportunities in accessing reading and information; • Value Braille as a communication, learning, and autonomy tool; • Encourage contact with different forms of accessible reading.
