Octávio, the mascot of the Parish of Quarteira, celebrates his birthday with a party dedicated to children and families.
Launched in 2022, on World Octopus Day, celebrated on 8 October, Octávio was created to share the history, traditions, and values of Quarteira in a fun and accessible way, especially for the younger audience.
To mark his fourth birthday, São Pedro do Mar Garden will host an afternoon of games from 14:00 to 18:00, featuring painting and craft workshops, a bouncy castle, popcorn cart, and other surprises.
At 17:00, everyone is invited to join Octávio for the birthday song.
