The atrium of the Lagoa Municipal Library will host the exhibition Objects That Tell Stories, part of the Memory Collector project by Bruno Batista, running from 20 October to 6 November. Entry is free!
The exhibition Objects That Tell Stories is part of the "Memory Collector" project, conceived and coordinated by Bruno Batista, carried out by the Lagoa Municipal Library and the Centro Popular de Lagoa. It brings together a selection of objects and the stories associated with them, shared by the senior population throughout the project. Through these objects, it gives space to the memories, experiences, and lives of the participants, valuing their journeys and knowledge.
More than just presenting objects, this exhibition seeks to value, share, and preserve memories, recognising the senior population as guardians of experiences and knowledge that are part of the community's history. By sharing these individual memories, it contributes to the preservation and construction of local collective memory.
The exhibition Objects That Tell Stories opens on 20 October at 14:00.
It can be visited for free, from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 18:00.
Let yourself be taken on this journey through time and discover or recall the objects that are part of the history and experiences of the senior population! 🤗🙌
