Orquestra do Algarve invites the audience to revisit the magic of great screenings from the early 20th century. Highlighting The General, Buster Keaton's masterpiece, this immersive experience brings back the original total spectacle dimension of cinema with live music. Between humor, rhythm, and visual virtuosity, this proposal recaptures the fascination of the times when moving images interacted directly with musicians on stage, creating a unique relationship between sound, narrative, and emotion. Presented and directed by Martim Sousa Tavares, this will be a unique opportunity to discover - or rediscover - an essential classic of cinema.
