There are secrets that seem perfect… until the day everything starts to go wrong. This is the starting point of “Love is Like This…”, the amusing comedy starring João Baião, which arrives at the Municipal Auditorium Maria Barroso in Olhão on 27 November at 21:30 and 28 November at 15:30.
The story follows Joaquim Baião, a man who manages to maintain, for years, a double life between two homes and two women. But a small unforeseen event triggers a dizzying succession of lies, phone calls, curious neighbours, persistent police and unexpected situations, in a show full of humour and misunderstandings.
Directed by João Baião and Fernando Gomes, the production also features Cristina Oliveira, Mané Ribeiro, Luís Garcia, João Frizza, João Lopes and Susana Cacela. “Love is Like This…” is the Portuguese adaptation of Run for Your Wife, by Ray Cooney, one of the most successful international comedies.
