"Verde mi Sangre, Rojo tus Hojas" is the result of two years of research, composition, and collaboration dedicated to the defense of biodiversity. With this album, La Barca manages to dissolve the “I” into the “we,” involving more-than-human beings and giving voice to bees, rivers, trees, birds, spiders, wolves, and herbs, guiding us to discover the beauty of beings and ecosystems, our environmental challenges, and some reflections that lead us to feel, more deeply, that “we” are Nature itself.
